MISSION STATEMENT
Planning and organising trainings on leadership and management skills such as communication, active listening, teamwork and project management. Also designing trainings and planning educational journeys regarding the needs of learners supported by the Unit.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- Supporting academics, administrative staff and students in acquiring transferable skills.
- Designing supportive training programs on quick and efficient problem solving with increased levels of agility and resilience.
- Improving learners’ knowledge, skills and competence in the main components of communication.
2026 ACTIVITIES
The first session of our Communication Skills Workshop Series, titled “Effective Communication Workshop,” was held on March 10, 2026, at YUTTO.
Within the scope of the workshop, key topics such as the fundamental elements of effective communication, active listening, empathy, effective feedback, and developing awareness in communication were addressed. Participants had the opportunity to enhance their communication skills through hands-on practices and interactive activities. At the end of the workshop, participants received their certificates of attendance from our Center Director, Prof. Dr. Berrin Yanıkkaya, and the workshop facilitator, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nazlı Çetin Gündoğdu.
Our workshop series will continue with upcoming sessions titled “Team Building” on April 7, 2026, and “Leadership and Effective Communication” on May 5, 2026.
