The Thematic Peer Group (TPG), led by Yeditepe University, Türkiye, consisted of academics and experts from seven European countries. Participants from Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Türkiye and Ukraine held two in-person and two online meetings over a period of 10 months. During these sessions, they focused on identifying and discussing crisis situations that could impact teaching and learning, ultimately compiling a list of these situations along with their definitions.
The TPG also conducted a survey with administrators from higher education institutions to gather insights based on their experiences.
Additionally, the group explored potential solutions for maintaining learning and teaching activities in higher education institutions during times of crisis. A report on this work will be published on the European Universities Association's website in March 2025.
